Began studying psychology at Yuba Community College while still completing her high school diploma. She went on to complete her bachelor’s degree in psychology at CSU, Chico and her Masters in Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage Family Therapy.

Has worked for Sutter Health since 2004 and is a Community Health Coordinator for the External Affairs department in the Sutter Health Valley Area, where she is responsible for managing community partnerships in Yolo, Amador, Yuba, and Sutter counties.

Has been involved in the Yuba Sutter Healthcare Council for many years and is well connected in the community. His priority is to help make our community better, and is always working to bring more people to the Council.

Serves on the executive team for a Federally Qualified Healthcare Center (FQHC), Ampla Health, with a service area of six northern California counties including Yuba and Sutter counties.

Is the Executive Director of the North Central Counties Consortium (NCCC)  Workforce Development Board. NCCC is a four county consortium serving Colusa, Glenn, Sutter and Yuba counties.

Executive Director of a five-county area, and is responsible for making sure large hospitals, solo, small, medium and large practice physicians are provided with practice management assistance, economic services, legislative advocacy and much more.

Started with Sutter County Public Health in 2018, after 20 years of experience in state government, including nine years with the California Department of Public Health, where she coordinated department-wide initiatives and served as the Executive Director for the California Conference of Local Health Officers.
